Hi Steemians, I’m Gerry, and I’m currently a student on the three month course at the world famous Ballymaloe Cookery School! You catch me in my second week of twelve here. I was planning on starting my steemit journey earlier but it’s been frantic! I’m super excited to share my experience here - and beyond with you guys. I’m not originally from Ireland, which is where the cookery school is, I’m an English country girl exploring beautiful Ireland, if you love travel and the countryside you will love my posts!
My background is in wine, and it’s what lead me to food - I travelled all over the world tasting great wine and now I want to understand food some more! I’ll make some wine matches with the recipes I present so you to can taste along with me. Please comment with what you would like to see me cook and I’ll see if I can make it happen!
