Ulog #230: Beef Bacon and Eggs Cheeseburger

Your typical beef bacon & eggs cheeseburger that's sure to get you up every morning. Only this is only available when I'm open which is in the evening to night.

For this burger, I'm using our in-house ground beef patties that are 80:20 lean meat to beef fat ratio of about a quarter pounds (130g-ish) and it's seared on flat top getting maximum crust on the patties. It's also served with our signature handcrafted wholemeal burger buns that are really hearty and yet fluffy, making a perfect vehicle for the burger as a whole.

This burger is actually a custom burger and an off-menu item that only regulars and the more adventurous eaters go for. 4 slices of cured beef bacon and a free-range chicken egg which we do your preference of done-ness. I prefer runny of course and it gives you an extra layer of creaminess or sauce if you'd say.

This is topped with some iceberg lettuce to give it a little freshness and crunch as well as a black pepper barbecue sauce that's slightly sweet, tangy and peppery to give it a nice heat to the overall burger.

A very delicious burger and a must try if you ever come by the truck. The name of this burger is 'Crimson Cow' which initially had a red bun but it scared some people so we reverted back to our good ol' brown coloured bun :D
