If you ever get up to Grand Marais, MN, you have to check out Sven & Ole's. It's a family restaurant with good beer, good pizza, and a great atmosphere. I tried a kolsch-style beer with my pizza, which was loaded with pepperoni and sausage. It was fresh out of the oven, too!
