$2.81, that's hard to imagine. I rarely eat out but a recent meal for 2 in the Cedar Tree Lebanese restaurant in Dublin cost me over 60 euro for 2 x falafel, 1 x spicy potato and 2x glasses of homemade lemonade. Only I can't stand the heat, I'd decamp to somewhere where the prices are less ridiculous.

Oh my word... 60 Euro for that? Goodness me the recession economy. It's a pity you don't like the heat but there are parts of Asia and South America which are quite cool and don't get too hot. Up in Cameron Highlands in Malaysia, the mountains in Indonesia all get quite cool. Wearing a jumper is totally appropriate given the coolness. Maybe Eastern Europe? 😉 Still I loved my time in Dublin and I know why you would love living there. However I couldn't stand the cost... 60 Euro ouch! 😝

Well we've more or less decided to head for the countryside. I left Ireland for almost 20 years and though it's not PC to say so these days, there's something comforting about being among your own people.
