We continued our journey to Java island and will return to stay in Bali island again as our flight stops in Bali. These are some of the Javanese food we tried. Java island is the island west of Bali and is the most populated island in Indonesia
Rice, the most important food and eaten everyday
Fried Gourami with Chilli sauce
Kimlo soup
Kerupuk, crackers used as side dish while eating the main food
Salmon Lodeh. Lodeh is traditional javanese food, not usually eaten with salmon, but looks like a unique combination
Ikan bumbu bainang, fish with bainang sauce
Satays
Opor Chicken
This restaurant is in Solo, Central Java, we were on our way to Jogjakarta.
I hope the food tasted as good as it looks. They are like works of art....

The first bit sort of looks like its a big sushi , is that the toping in the middle go through all the way down or its just sitting at the top of the rice ?

100 USD is too much for people of third world underdeveloped countries. So, it is better to go for 3 stars. Thanks for sharing
