Our daily bread

A big greeting dear friends, today I wake up very early and as usual at breakfast I had these beautiful "arepas", the bread of these Venezuelan lands, although they are also eaten in Colombia but they are ours. They have nourished us since memorial times resisting influences from other cultures and remain intact.

Arepas are eaten stuffed with all kinds of fillings, the most popular being chicken with avocado and mayonnaise, there are also meat, pork, cheese with black beans among others. they are eaten with soups, at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
