Craving for Ramen? Or maybe sushi, and/or any other Japanese food? Then this could be the restaurant for you if you're living in Bulacan.

Location

Ganchan is located in McArthur Highway, Barangay Tikay, Malolos, Bulacan near Bulacan Industrial Park and was established way before the other famous restaurants standing there such as Shakey's, Hapchan and the likes.

Yes, you read it right. It's been in the industry for a long time already but I haven't tried it until last Saturday. I'm fully aware of its existence, and I've read tons of good reviews about this place. My boyfriend and I have been meaning to try this long ago but we always fail. There is this one instance when we went there only to find out that it's closed for the day. 😅

Seen in the photo is their famous Takoyaki and on the other side are those people who are waiting to be seated.

It does look small when looking from the outside, but surprisingly, it's quite spacious when you get inside. There are lots of seats and there's even a stairs leading you to more tables and seats upstairs. (though I wasn't able to take a photo of it due to the number of diners). I didn't really expect that because I always see lots of people outside waiting for their turn to be seated, but it must be because there are a lot of people who are dining here so it easily gets full especially during peak hours.

Their menu and the view from their kitchen

While waiting for our order, I went outside to watch how they cook their Takoyaki. It's very tempting not to buy! I was able to taste their takoyaki before and that's because of my brother and it's really good. These takoyaki are good for takeout but you can also order for dine in since it is in the menu.

The Food

After waiting for several minutes, the food has finally arrived!

We also ordered Bento meals such as this one. It's called the Bento A meal. It has a cover when it was served and upon opening the box, this is how it looks like! Love the presentation! ❤

I ordered the Seafood Ramen and it's really good. I fell in love within my first sip. The broth is very rich and flavorful and most importantly, it has a lot of seafood stuffs in it including crabsticks, squids and mussels.

The ebi tempura is also huge and it was really good. I'd say it's worth the price which is at P80 per piece.

Final Verdict

We have enjoyed the food and true to its claim, it really does tastes like an authentic Japanese cuisine and it's very comparable to those high end Japanese restaurants around Manila. The ambience is with a Japanese vibes which I really like. Also, the price is affordable and the best thing is that, I didn't have to go farther whenever I'm craving for Japanese foods because they got it all for you. I'd definitely go back! ❤

I wanted to go to Bulacan for the reason that I have not fully explored this province. I will include this on my list next time as well.

please do so sis! it will be worth it 😊❤

Ang sarap naman diyan :) Tsaka, bagay talaga kayo ng boyfriend mo. :) Maganda at gwapo. :) :)

thankyou sis! oonga sarap talaga kaya natuwa ako 😁❤

Wow i would really want to try sushi from malolos 😊

I actually like this type of restaurant! Yung authentic pero sa probinsya nakalugar kasi win-win sya haha. Malapit na, masarap na, mura pa! Unlike sa Metro Manila, minsan overhyped lang yung food which sometimes is disappointing and not worth it.
