“Pork Bomb”

Im not much of a meat lover, but i love to eat and i always try to mix some veggies on my recipes so the kids would eat it, and sometimes it has to be creative as for those little ones to get excited. Its very easy to make this dish and i usually make it on occasions where i need to come up with something really fast, so let me share with you my recipe for this dish.

Ingredients

• Any choice of bacon ( turkey or pork ) about 10 pieces minimum
• optional to use thin sliced chicken breast
• ground pork or ground sausage
• onion
• bell pepper ( any assorted color)
• cheese
• salt and pepper
• pork rub
• toothpicks
• celophane or cling wrap

Direction

1. I would lay down my cling wrap to make sure your surface is clean and its easier to roll the bacon
2. Start by weaving the bacon alternate, and one on top of another like this
   
3. Actually with this weave you can put what ever you like, for me i lay down my thinly slice chicken breast on top the bacon
4. Then with your ground pork, sprinkle some pork rub or any flavoring you prefer, i would spread it around the bacon and having 1 -2 inch space on each side to make it easier to wrap. You can also use those bratwurst sausages, those have flavors already.
5. From this point on, you can put whatever you like, onion, bell pepper, boild eggs, and cheese, be creative
6. Then roll it, i would use the cling wrap in the bottom to make it easier to roll, then place tooth picks on the edges
7. So if you not ready to cook it yet, you can wrap it with aluminum foil and place in the freezer or ref till your ready for it
8. Preheat oven at 425 degrees, then use a tray that lets the oil from the bacon drip, bake it for 30 mins on one side an another 15 mins on the other side then it should be ready, and it depends too on how crunchy you want the bacon to be, then just don’t forgwt to take off the toothpicks and its ready to serve
