Everyday is a salad day.
How could it not be with fresh edible nature growing in one's own back yard?
This salad has wild weed greens including lamb's quarter, purslane and oxalis, and cultivated sweet potato greens, purple shiso, chives, onions, and lemon balm.
Celery, radish, cauliflower, bell and jalapeno peppers added a definite sweet and spicy crunch.
The perfect dressing for me was a simple olive oil, balsamic and homemade vinegars, liquid aminos, cayenne pepper, turmeric, garlic, salt and pepper.
My body feels good eating fresh, raw, homegrown foods everyday. Food as close to alive as I can get it!
