Yesterday I posted a new Parsley & Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe. And these turkey meatballs paired perfectly with them! Turkey meatballs make for a much healthier option compared to traditional meatballs. They have a refreshing, lighter taste and work really well smothered in turkey flavored gravy! So, ditch your usual gravy recipe this year and try this delicious Turkey Meatball Gravy instead!

The meatballs themselves have a simple list of ingredients that include parsley, onions, celery, garlic, salt and pepper. A huge time saving tip is to add all the vegetables to a food processor and grind them until they’re minced well. You can then add the minced ingredients into a large bowl with the ground turkey and mix until everything is blended well. This whole process should take no more than 5 minutes!

Next comes forming the actual meatballs. My recipe yielded 17 meatballs that were about 1 ½ inches in diameter. That was plenty for my family of 4 but if you’re cooking for a crowd (such as Thanksgiving dinner) then definitely double (or triple!) the recipe. These meatballs turned out delicious enough to guarantee people will be going back for seconds. So, cover all your basis and make sure you have plenty to go around!

The turkey meatballs are the main event of this dish so, for the actual gravy, I kept it simple and used turkey flavored gravy mix. You have a couple of options when it comes to quick and easy gravy. You can do what I did and buy the powdered packets, add water and boil on the stovetop until thick. Or you can buy the ready-made gravy that comes in a can or jar. Both will yield the same delicious results in a short amount of time which is the best part about this recipe; how quickly it all comes together. Please give it a try and let me know how it turns out in the comments below! 🦃 🥦 🍽 🍂
