Spring rolls or sometimes spelled as lun pia (Hanzi: 潤 餅 / 润 饼, POJ: lūn-piáⁿ, hanyu pinyin: rùn bǐng, English: long pia) is a kind of traditional Chinese snacks. The spring rolls known by Indonesians are Hokkienese pronunciations. The spring rolls consist of thin slices of whole-wheat flour which are used as a packing stuff that is generally bamboo shoots, eggs, fresh vegetables, meat, or seafood. In Indonesia, spring rolls are known as typical snacks of Semarang with the procedures of making and ingredients that have been adapted to local traditions.
