Do you have this kind of egg in your country?steemCreated with Sketch.

As an HR of a multi-cultured companies, I fancy asking our expats to take and eat one.
It doesn't look anything close to candy so most of the time it becomes like a challenge from us to them to try at least one. It creates laughter and bonding in the pantry. So fun!

Here in the Philippines, we call it Balut!
We usually eat it with vinegar and salt.

Some people can look and eat the chick together with what else is inside, some can eat but CANNOT look at the chick whilst some can take the soup and yellow part ONLY but not the stone and chick.

What about you and what do you think about this food?

Nice!

I tried, I even closed my eyes but my throat felt some furry thing and throw it out immediately.

Yayks!!! Now Hahaha i cannot unhear that! LOL

Prefer not to look at it, but still will eat it.

I salute you enough for that @bayanihan, I can't even eat the chick in all honestly. Haha!

Hah hah, why would anyone want to eat this? Is it delicious or what? lol

1 million star for the taste of its liquid that burst when you crack the egg! Also for the soft yellow! We, Filipino can eat this every night. LOL

But it's a different story in terms of tolerance when it comes to the Stone and chick part. Hahaha! You have to try one @bescouted

Ermmmm..... i don't think so :D I am very simple with food selections :) I totally understand that this is a matter of something you are getting used as we eat egg, and we eat poultry and find it ok, while some culture would find it disgusting to eat pig for example. But i can tell you already for sure that i would not like this dish :) So many mice fruit in philipines! And other delicious food!!!

True that! And modesty aside, not just food, Islands too!
🏖🏝🏞⛰ @bescounted 😊

I am sure about that :) That is why i was thinking of spending a few months in one of those :)

I suggest one or couple of days for each of your top islands in PH. Don't spend month in just one. We have a total of wonderful 7,107 islands to discover 😄
Let me know when you're in my vicinity! :)

I do not know where that vicinity is :) And i like to settle down for a little bit and just chill and do some work :) Like i did for four months in Bali :) traveling is nice, but settling down allows to know people better, get some social bonds and see what's not seen while travelling and moving fast :)

People, place and its culture. I rest my case, that's sounds way better. :)
May you be blessed even more to make that plan happen. :)
