Calling out all Bakso Lovers...
Bakso is Indonesian meatballs. Mainly made from beef. But for people who dont eat beef like in Bali for example when most of Balinese are Hindu and they are not allowed to consume beef then they make it with chicken.
Mostly served in a bowl with the soup and accompanion with eggs noodles or vercimelli and fried dumpling (not the kind of typical Chinese dumpling tho) sometimes with tofu and boiled egg, depends how you like it. The soup mostly is beef broth, and you can seasoned it with chilli sauce mixed with tomato sauce, sweet soy sauce and vinegar.
The beef in bakso is not like the one you found on the Spaghetty meatballs thingy. Basically Bakso is made from beef meat with tapioca flour. The history of bakso is came from Chinese people who migrated to Indonesia and Javanese made it popular. The famous bakso is come from Solo and Malang. The taste is super delicious and its good when you consume it hot.
