Ingredients:
- 250g ricotta
- 225g flour
- 200g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 apples
- 1 packet of vanilla-flavoured baking powder
- powdered sugar
Directions:
- Wash and peel the apples, cut into slices about 3mm thick
- In a bowl, stir the ricotta cheese and sugar with electric whips until a smooth cream is obtained
- Continuing to stir, incorporate the eggs one by one, not adding the next until the previous one is fully incorporated
- Add flour and baking powder stirring until the mixture is homogeneous and without lumps
- Pour the mixture into a pan buttered and floured and place the apples in concentric circles on the surface
- Cook for about 35 minutes in the oven preheated at 180°, doing the toothpick test to check the cooking
- Let the cake cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar
