Okazuya Style Corned Beef Hash Patties
Ingredients:
▪ 1 can corned beef
▪ 2 medium size potatoes, cooked and smash
▪ 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
▪ 1/2 cup carrots, shredded
▪ 1 egg
▪ 1/2 teaspoon salt
▪ pepper
For dredging:
▪ 1/2 cup cornstarch
▪ 1/2 cup Panko, fine bread crumbs (optional but it helps make patties crunchy on the outside)
Instructions:
1. Boil and smash potatoes. Add salt and pepper. Let it cool down for about 5 minutes before adding the rest of the ingredients.
2. Add and mix corned beef and all the other ingredients except cornstarch and Panko.
3. Let it rest for about 1 hour in fridge to make it easy to shape your patties.
4. Combine cornstarch and Panko.
5. Shape patties and dredge in cornstarch mixture.
6. Fry until golden brown. About 4 minutes each side.
Makes about 18 patties. Enjoy with ketchup or your favorite hot sauce.
