Skillet biscuits

Hey Steemian,

If I can’t make my own sourdough bread, at least I can bake my own skillet biscuits. They are the perfect replacement of bread and sooo delicious. It contains butter! How can it taste otherwise than delicious?

140 g cold butter
225 g flour
150ml buttermilk
1 baking powder
Cheddar cheese (any other cheese will work)
Salt

In a bowl, add the butter, flour. Mix with your fingers until you have a crumble texture. Add the buttermilk, cheese and baking powder. Mix well.
In a skillet, arrange the biscuits and top them with melted butter.
Bake for 25 minutes at 220C.

All that I say is that I’m gonna be sooo fat after.

Those look way too good! Usually I don’t like sourdough but I’d definitely have some of that.
