Yesterday I made a smoothie for the very first time.
A smoothie is a kind of milkshake but with more fruit.
A real vitamin boost.
He was so good, but I did not have enough fruit to make another one (damn).
What did I use?
The way I did it !!
Allow the red fruits to be frozen in the freezer.
Then slice the strawberry and peeled kiwi into thin slices.
This way you can stick them against the inside of the glass.
Put the rest of the strawberries and kiwi together with the other frozen fruits in the blender.
Add the yogurt, rhoice and a dash of milk and mix into a smooth smoothie.
Ready to feast.
A great way to make this have a very similar flavor profile and pack a healthy punch would be to replace the ice cream with some frozen leafy greens like spinach. The spinach flavor would be masked by the fruit and the yogurt!
