"akafuku" is one of Japan's famous confections.
it is rice cake wrapped with sweet red-bean paste and is selled by Long-established store along the road used for visiting a "Ise" shrine ( there is greatest god called 'amateurs').
When I went home to Mie at day before yesterday, there is a unusual "akafuku" on dinning table.
it is special "akabuku" provided on August 1, so sweet red-bean paste change brown sugar paste, rice cake change "kiwi" cake.
I can only eat it once a year, so very lucky and so happy!
Why not look into the reason, I was able to know it's root of summer gift with Bon festival (a Festival of the Dead or Buddhist All Souls' Day)
I had enjoy homecoming.
