I don't pretend to understand the culinary delights of all the nations of the world but recently I was in a seafood restaurant and made my way over to the live seafood section and was a little bit surprised about what I found there.
I don't know a great deal about what this even is but to me it appears to be an eel of some sort and there was only one of them in the entire facility. I am guessing it is relatively expensive because from the few times that I have been scuba diving eels were relatively rare.
Here is where my ignorance of culinary delights comes in. I don't know if this tastes good or even how someone would develop a taste for it. I can't really imagine there being too many families that are like "so what is for din dins???? Eel? Again!"
I've been alive for a quarter a century (slightly more) and I have never tasted eel. I don't know if it is awesome but I am guessing perhaps it isn't because as far as I know it isn't on any menu that I have ever seen in my life.
I guess I kind of feel bad for this fella because he will be eaten soon and in the meantime he (or she) will be kept in this little cage until that time comes.
we had prawns.
