Today's Sustainable Feast in the Garden of EdensteemCreated with Sketch.

It's a great day in the Garden of Eden, and we have another great feast to share!

Today we have all the fixins for yummy, yummy burritos or taco salads with plenty of delicious, nutrient rich elements to layer and customize to each person's palate.

We made a hearty, saucy brown rice blend with sautéed veggies, which is a nice base for our vegetarians and vegans.

We had chili lime chicken for the meat eaters as well.

Then we bring on the vitamins and beta carotene with a beautiful mix of bright bell peppers and onions! The intentional char on these veggies adds a deep, earthy, roasted flavor.

We're enjoying lots of mushrooms lately as well, amping up our vitamin D sources!

Wrap it up with some salsa and greens on a gluten free tortilla, and we've got awesome homemade burritos to get down on! This one has lots of wildcrafted, foraged lamb's quarter for high calcium and protein.

And of course everything was prepared in our outdoor kitchen on our  handmade rocket stove, using trash-salvaged wood for fuel. Cooking in nature is so primally satisfying!

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love! We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food.

Food is an integral and honored part of our reality, and it is a pleasure to provide for hungry people. If you would like to know more about our unique and super sustainable connection to our food cycle, please check out our previous post here

It looks very nice @gardenofeden I have a question: do you guys eat meat, chicken or pig? I´m just curios, I usually see a lot of veggies on your meal. Cheers ;)

Hi Ana!! We have vegetarians, vegans, and people who eat meat living here, and we have enough food for everyone! People here tend to eat a lot less meat in the summer when it is hot, as it is a little hard to digest, plus there are so many amazing veggies in season!!!

Hey @anahilarski !
So nice to see your beautiful face on these food posts! We are all about freedom and responsibility. So if people want to responsibly eat meat here it is ok. We do eat meat just about any kind that is sustainable. We also have some vegetarians and vegas here also who do not eat any of it even though it IS sustainable. That is also ok.
We believe that meat can be healthy for certain body types/people when it is high quality meat and in moderation. We also feel that generally speaking fresh fruits vegetables are the healthiest foods so make lots of those kinds of dishes!
Appreciate the support!
