It is another incredible day in the Garden of Eden, and we are giving thanks for more than enough of everything in this abundant life of freedom!  

We made a delicious feast for our volunteers and special guests today, and because we have below freezing weather we prepared the food indoors on our wood burning stove rather than on the rocket stoves of our sustainable outdoor kitchen! We stayed nice and toasty, had a fantastic meal, AND heated water for showers for super sustainable efficiency. As usual, there was more than enough food for everyone, and we are happy to share our abundance with you.

Today we made a huge feast with lots of appetizers, fried chicken, tortellini with tomato sauce, and a great green salad!

For our main course, we made yummy fried chicken. We also had a our daily mixed green salad with lots of dried cranberries, feta cheese, and vinaigrette for a bright, raw dose of vitamins. We rounded out the main course with a big bowl of cheese tortellini and topped it with garlic tomato sauce! The main course was so fantastic that we didn't capture photos of each dish before they were devoured by our hungry community. :)

But we started our meal with a wonderful spread of snacks and appetizers and have plenty of photos to share! There are plenty of crunchy things like tortilla chips, sesame sticks, and blue corn tortilla chips to go with the raw veggies and dips.

We made a nice tray of cut veggies with a delicious, creamy ranch dip. We used broccoli, baby carrots, celery sticks, cauliflower, green peas, and cherry tomatoes.

We served it with artichoke dip, jalapeño hummus, and rich guacamole! 

We set out a fantastic cheese platter with some soft and spreadable brie, bacon cheddar, port wine, everything bagel cheddar, and smoked gouda. We also added prosciutto and cherry tomatoes to the spread! 

It was a wonderful meal that stretched out over many hours, and we had plenty of food for everyone! 

Food is important, and we hope to inspire people to really take time to eat, enjoy it, and share it with someone you love. We also hope to inspire more and more sustainable practices in regards to food!
