Great salad combos!!! I love this time of year when the produce is coming out of the garden in boxes and pillow cases. Are you zucchini blossom lovers? I have a simple and excellent recipe from my grandmother for fried blossoms you might enjoy: 30 +- blossoms (males), 3 eggs, little half and half, salt, pepper, garlic powder, turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of flour. mix the batter with fork, dip the blossoms and fry in some good oil in your cast iron skillet..... yummy.... happy harvest!! oc
