Have you ever cooked but was unable to eat what you cooked, not because you did not feel the Hunger anymore but because the taste was not close to being nice at all?
This was my exact experience five years ago when I was left alone in the house for three days, this was when I was still living with my parents.
I had no need to go to the market because we had everything I needed for food preparation in the house. I was battling with myself before finally deciding to try what was supposed to be a jinx breaking experience for me.
I decided that I will be preparing okra soup, known in my local language as Atighi soup. I will not give details about the process I took while preparing the soup because if I do, you will laugh and fall to the ground.
I was becoming restless while waiting for the soup to be ready, you can't imagine the level of curiosity.

I almost wept while trying to eat the supposed soup that I spent my time to prepare. Hmm, I felt mad that I had wasted my mum's ingredients for a tasteless soul that I could not eat, however, I was excited that I had tried cooking for the first time in my life.

I had since become a better chef, lol. I love preparing beans and rice, I also think that I'm the best man when it comes to professionally preparing melon soup. Somebody is salivating already, right?

Today I am grateful for ability to cook, I'm excited.
