Maybe because I always leave my home place, even when I am in some foreign countries I always crave for Asian food so much. In Vancouver, I can have pho every day non stop (my boyfriend @jankasparec may not know it. I always do it alone when he is working :D) In States, me and other crews love China town so much. Maybe we just miss home and need comfort food from our home.
This time me and my friend flew to Sydney at the same time so we met up for dinner. Without discussion, both of us suggested Korean food!! There are so many Korean restaurant next to the hotel I am staying. This time I tried a new restaurant called Madang Korean BBQ on Pitt St, Sydney.
Madang is at the alley so it's not easy to notice. But compared to other Korean restaurant, there are so many people lining up outside and we needed to wait for awhile. It impressed me!
Kimchi Pancake, bibimbap and grilled pork with spicy sauce, cheese and Tteokbokki always are the must order items!
Vegetarian Japchae is for me!! Different from with beef like the traditional one, this tastes sooo yummy too. I know, only two of us killed four big plates are nuts! People always said never underestimate how much a flight attendant can eat every meal! Lol
I am grateful that I can have someone I knew for quite a long time with me at the outport as most of the time I just spend time alone in the unfamiliar countries. Meeting someone you know at the outport doesn't always happen so I always cherish the moment so much:D I had good girl's time:)
Let see how the weather is going to be tomorrow! Probably I will go some places I haven't explored in Sydney if the weather is not too bad! Hope you have a great day :D
With love,
Gladys

Aaaaah, too bad it didn't work out for me to go with you this time, but when it's winter in Vancouver and summer in Sydney, I'm in the airplane with you, I promise! Is that Eva on the picture? She looks so different :)

lol Madang is probably my least favourite K-BBQ in Sydney these days...over priced and the "wagyu" beef is old and tough.
