Kare-kare is one of my favorites! Sharing with you a classic Filipino stew complimented with a thick savory peanut sauce. It is made from a base of stewed oxtail (sometimes this is the only meat used), pork hocks, calves feet, pig feet, beef stew meat, and occasionally offal and topped with veggies. It is best paired with "alamang" (shrimp paste) to complement its subtle taste. Just had this deliciously perfect cuisine from my fave resto! Food is happiness! π
