When entering the month of Ramadan, one of the things that have become a tradition of Muslims is hunting takjil before breaking the fast. Many foods that become the favorite of Indonesian people, such as sweet foods, spicy and salty and of course various kinds of fries never absent from the table when breaking.
Most people eat fried food before eating big meals because fried foods are considered light foods. Not only that, the sense of savory and affordable prices become the people's choice.
Before the break, the vendors peddle a variety of fried foods. They sell in various places such as the roadside, shops and markets that show high public interest in fried foods.
There are some areas in Jakarta such as in Rawamangun and Bendungan Hilir which is very famous with takjil market. But when you browse the two places, there is a different fried seller. The reason, which sells gorengan is a beautiful and handsome bule.
The two Caucasians sell fried foods named Takjil Impor 2018. With a loud enough melodious voice from sellers who look kece and very unusual very attracted the attention of the surrounding community.
This is the second year of this Caucasian held the event. In the previous year Takjil Impor was held in Rawamangun market. Due to the enthusiastic look of the buyers is quite high then this year again held in three places for three consecutive weeks.
One of the sellers of imported Takjil from Persia, Ami said that when fasting month of fried food became favorite food of Indonesian people, he also saw the business opportunity to sell fried foods.
"Selling the breaking menu is also the right choice for me because the tradition of the Indonesian people before the break is ngabuburit while looking for the breaking menu, but I use a unique way of selling," said Ami, when met in aceh.
Ami sells various kinds of fried foods such as tofu, pastel, lumpia, risoles, bakwan corn, tempe mendoan, shrimp prawns, combro, egg martabak, fried banana, compote and fruit ice.
Unlike other fried sellers, Ami said using quality materials, one of them the use of cooking oil. He chose Sunco because it was considered only a little stick on food. In the production of this cooking oil through 5 stages of the perfect process to produce a clear oil, not easily frozen and character like water, so it is easier to flow when drained.
