Hi everyone, @goingpaper here.
It is my pleasure to bring to the world’s attention, the magical healing powers of an Australian food spread called Vegemite.
This glorious treat is a popular savoury spread that is commonplace all around Australia. It is advertised as a healthy snack alternative that is a good source of vitamin B. Most Australian children grow up eating it and regularly have it with toast and butter. Even before taking into account it’s creole voodoo powers this national delight is a grouse snack.
What people don’t realise is that Vegemite has the ability to heal. It can help to mend:
Split lips
Dry lips
Sore throat
Sore tongue
Ulcers
Dry mouth
During winter when my lips get blasted dry by wind and get cracked, I just have a snack of Vegemite on toast and the next day my lips are much smoother and are healed quite a bit. In cases where my lip splits and bleeds, I just get some Vegemite and rub it onto my lip, leave it for a few minutes and then eat it while making sure to drink a lot of water afterwards. Vegemite has a very high salt content however so only small amounts of it should be used.
I hope everyone finds this interesting and I will be back soon with some more of my knowledge bank.
geez. I love vegemite and I didn't know any of this.
It's like the wd40 of food

There's definitely some amazing qualities to Vegemite, but damn it's a hard sell to someone who hasn't grown up with it in their diet: https://d.tube/v/givesaminute/18hwfe9c
