This has got to be one of the best ways ever to do pasta!

So let’s talk pasta! Please tell me that you have all had the chance to eat at The Cheesecake Factory at least once??? It has got to be one of my favorite restaurants that I can remember ever eating at, but alas, they don’t extend there business all the way down here so I haven’t been in years. The last time I went though, was in Florida when my mom took Liv and I on a short little girl’s getaway trip. It was a blast and we had so much fun eating out and even hitting up some Disney parks while we were there.

Anyway, we ate at Cheesecake Factory at least twice on that trip and both times mom and I wanted the same thing because it was so incredible. Their bowtie pasta with bacon, peas, chicken, and this yummy roasted garlic cream sauce that leaves you wanting to keep going back in for more even when you’re stuffed to your limit. In fact, it falls right next to coffee in that category of things being too hard to resist when they aren’t limited. It also doesn’t help that the portion sizes they serve at CF are enough for about four people (not that I’m complaing, hello leftovers!).

Mom and I were thinking back to that trip recently and when we started talking about that pasta I just knew I had to make a copycat version of it for my gang and to share with you guys. Well that, and it was a cheaper option than buying plane tickets to the nearest branch of their restaurants.

Roasted garlic is sort of the star component to this sauce and it’s so, so easy to do. If you aren’t already going to be using your oven for another purpose though, it does seem a bit wasteful to heat the whole thing just for a head or two of garlic and that’s why I love using a toaster oven that heats a much smaller space. Every time I use roasted garlic I have one of those hand-to-forehead moments wondering why I don’t do it more. Then there is something about combining it with all of these flavors that makes the finished dish irresistible. Pasta would definitely be near the top of my weakness list and this is one of my all time faves!

I have never eaten at a Cheesecake Factory. I have seen lots of reviews and mostly all good. I will have to see if we have one in the area. That pasta looks great! Have a good day.

Yum yum! It looks delicious! I make a creamy pasta with herbal cream sauce, peas and bacon, which tastes sooo good. I can only imagine how good yours will taste! I gotta remember to add cheese next time :D

i remember it was the first time i use farfalle pasta and i don't know any recipe so i just add everything i had in our fridge hahah.. i had mixed emotions about the taste but my dad liked it :)

I went to the Cheesecake Factory yesterday. . . I have been to locations in Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, and Indianapolis.. . .. Great Food and Cheesecake. . . Your dishes look just as good.

What did you have? And which one did you go to?

We went to the Cheesecake Factory in Indianapolis, Indiana. I had the Caramel Pecan Turtle Cheesecake, which is a Pecan Brownie and Caramel-Fudge Swirl Cheesecake, Topped with Caramel Turtle Pecans and Chocolate. I love chocolate and it was great.

(I got the description from from their online menu, I better be careful because of the stalking cat. . . )

Wow, nice to see you are taking Italian Pasta for this receipt.
If we would have been in Italy, instead of the bacon we would have put Italian Sausage, marinated in a separate sauce.
Anyway i love Bacon :-) therefore i love your pasta receipt.

I totally agree about the toaster oven. I didnt want to buy one coz I didnt want to add one more item in my kitchen, but I have to say; its one of my best purchase ever. Compact enough for making quick meals and we arent spending too much energy doing so. Delicious recipe and great pics by the way.

No Cheesecake factory here in Thailand, but there is cheesecake "sara Lee" in the frozen food section of Big C! The local big grocery chain. You're pasta looks great. I used to make a mean carbonera. So often good food has a direct correlation to good ingredients. I'll be heading to Italy and all over Europe next year. They have some of the best ingredients in the world in these parts. Your pasta dish has me excited! Looks like you topped that off with some good quality parmesan, or is that pecorino?

So sorry this one got by me.... "sara Lee", I don't think that qualifies as cheesecake.

Yes Italy next years. The way I travel it only makes sense. I'll be flying from Buena Aires Argintina to Portugal for about 250 dollars, then I'll slowly and cheaply make my way east across Europe. Might spend six months in that part of the world. So much to see and do there with each country having own unique rich and vibrant culture. I'm really looking forward to it.
