Hi Steemit!

Have you ever tried "Vege Marrow"? They call it in the stores is vege marrow because it refers to a certain number of summer squash varieties. Also know in the U.K. as "Marrow". Marrow vegetables grow larger and longer then zucchini but it's not. This squash has a mild flavor and blends easily in many dishes.

IS MARROW A FRUIT OR A VEGETABLE:

Surprise it's a vegetable.

COOKING THE MARROW:

Cooking it is also similar zucchini. You can steam, bake, fry or roast. Depending on the way you cook it you may want to take the seeds out.

IS MARROW GOOD FOR YOU:

Marrow is very low in calories and no fat. It is a great source of fiber, Vitamins A, C, Iron and Calcium. The disease control board says the peel is rich in Beta-carotene. Beta-carotene is a super antioxidant that inhibits free radical compounds from damaged tissue and DNA.
