Hello Steemit Friends!

For the past few days I have been busy traveling around Bangkok, Thailand taking photos.  So, I apologize to my followers for not being able to consistently update my posts.  I am still trying to commit to Steem and post regularly, but during my travels it is a little difficult to do it everyday. I will keep working on it!! Please forgive me.

This post is the final post about Delicious Foods related to South Korea!  Hope you can enjoy the foods that I will introduce!

Korean Fried Chicken

Korean fried chicken is very popular in Asia.  It is popular mainly because of it's diverse choices of flavor.  In Korea, there are many different sauces, such as, soy sauce, original style (crispy), sweet and spicy, and even spicy mustard.  You can have a choice of having boneless or with bone.  Whichever choice you decide, I can always guarantee that the chicken will be delicious and tender.  In my past experiences, I have never had a bad experience with the chicken.  In this picture, I decided to have sweet and spicy flavor, of course it was tasty!

Korean Ramen (Cheese)

One of the most popular dishes in Korea is Korean ramen!  Ramen in Korea is very cheap and affordable, it is usually around 2-3$ only!  It is always spicy and the soup is always flavorful.  A common way of eating Korean ramen is eating from the cup, known as cup ramen.  Another popular way of eating ramen is adding cheese inside.  Unbelievable right?  By adding cheese, the spicy broth thickens and is very delicious.  In Korean ramen, they usually add an egg to add texture to the broth.  This is a great way to introduce yourself to some cheap delicious Korean food!

Korean BBQ - Pork (Samgyeopsal 삼겹살)

In one of my previous posts, I had shown some delicious Korean BBQ with beef as the main ingredient.  In Korea, beef is generally harder to come by and a little more expensive, but in Korean BBQ, pork is king.  There are many different pork dishes that can be used for BBQ, but the most common cut is pork belly, known in Korea as "Samgyeopsal 삼겹살."  Samgyeopsal when grilled is very tender and yummy.  As you can see in the photo, kimchi is added into the soup to add some extra flavor and spiciness to the pork meat.  This specific meal was cheap and it costs only about 8$ a person for a hefty amount of pork.  I highly recommend coming to Korea and trying this!

Downtowner's Cheeseburger

I mentioned in a previous post that in Seoul, you may find a lot of delicious foreign food.  This cheeseburger is no exception.  I visited a popular trendy restaurant called Downtowner's in Hanam, Seoul which only offered a menu of hamburgers.  I decided to get a double cheeseburger.  The meat was super tender, juicy, and flavorful.  The hamburger was coupled with fresh vegetables and a nice tasty sauce.  Foreign food is generally a little more expensive in Seoul, so this burger was about 10$  If you are ever in Seoul, please take a look at Downtowner's, you won't be disappointed!

Kimchi Fried Rice

Kimchi is the most popular dish in Korea and is eaten almost every meal.  So, it makes sense to add kimchi into some other common dishes right?  A popular tasty dish is kimchi fried rice.  It is a very simple dish.  Rice is cooked and fried with kimchi and some salted dry seaweed is added into the dish to add a little texture.  As an added bonus, some restaurants will add a sunny side egg and place it on top of the rice.  The egg can be smashed and mixed with the dish to add some delicious flavor!  Kimchi fried rice is not spicy and can be enjoyed by everyone.  It is also quite cheap and costs about 4-5$.

Byeo Haejang-guk 뼈해장국 (Pork Bone Soup)

The final dish is Byeo Haejang-guk 뼈해장국 or translated as "Pork Bone Soup."  This is actually one of my favorite dishes in Korea.  The dish typically comes with large pieces of pork bone, but with a lot of tender delicious meat still on it!  The soup also has kimchi inside of it and is a little different than previous soup dishes, because the soup has a lot pepper added into it.  The soup comes very hot, so please be careful when eating it.  The soup may look spicy but trust me it is quite mild.  The pork bone adds amazing flavor to the soup base and it is unbelievably delicious.  The only downside of this dish is that the pork meat is still on the bone, so it might take a little effort to get the meat off.  In some countries, you're probably expecting the meat to be already separated for you.  It just takes a little effort, but I guarantee the dish will be worthwhile.  The dish is cheap as well, only about 5-6$ only.

These cuisines got me salivating. My interest has been piqued. Unfortunately, I don't think this kind of food can be found in the country where I come from, so sad.
