Move over Shake Shack, there's a new fast food burger in New York.

For those who aren't familiar, Shake Shack is probably the most popular burger chain in New York, arguably the best fast-food burger chain in many people's opinion.

I recently went to grab a quick bite at Union Square Burger which ironically is located at Times Square. I was pleasantly surprised at how amazing it was.

On initial inspection the burger looks very similar to Shake Shack's burger (potato bun, lettuce, tomato, cheese, beef patty) however the beef was much higher quality. The owner of the restaurant tried over 3000 burger patties before settling on this formula of American Wagyu Kobe Beef and  Black Angus Beef. This made for a juicy, flavorful, and delicious burger.

Typically you can expect a New York meal to exceed $10 however this burger came in at only $7.95 which is even less expensive for an equivalent burger at Shake Shack! Fries were great as well. Very crispy and crunchy.

Will definitely be back again!
