Hello friends and steemians. Today's lunch is sauteed upo. Manang Inday's niece from Ilocos Norte sent us fresh veggies and mangoes tru bus and picked it up in terminal this morning. First time ko nakakita ng bilog na upo kaya sabi ko 'yon na lang lutuin. Since manang is busy doing laundry, ako na lang nagluto. :)
2 Pieces na upo niluto ko para hanggang mamyang gabi.
Hiwain,balatan at hugasan ang upo.
6 cloves ng bawang, 2 medium size onion, 2 large tomatoes. Sliced.
Hiwain ang kalahating kilong manok.
Request ni manang lagyan ko daw nito. Hindi ko alam kung ano tawag nito sa kanila pero wala daw itong anghang. Masarap daw ito sa pinakbet pero gusto niya talaga kumain nito kaya ihahalo ko na lang sa upo.
Igisa ang bawang, sibuyas, at kamatis.
Ilagay ang manok, lagyan ng knorr cubes para mas malasa. lagyan ng konting tubig, haluin at hayaang kumulo.
Ilagay ang sili
Ilagay ang upo.
Lagyan ng asin. Haluin at hayaang kumulo hanggang maluto.
