Great Margarita Recipe (see risk disclaimer)

My favorite summer time drink is the Margarita! (although works during all seasons)

I thought I would share my dad's margarita recipe that is partly responsible why I have kids (be warned). My kids are just lucky they are not named Jose and Margaret :)

  • 1 cup Ice
  • 1 ounce Fresh Lime (not bottles allowed here)
  • 1 ounce Light Agave Syrup
  • 2 3/4 (or round to 3 ounces) ounces Tequila (white or silver only)
  • Salt for the rim
  • Don't forget the lime wheel
  • Take the chilled glasses out of the freezer

Last step: Let the fun begin amigas and amigos!
