Lemon and Garlic Shrimp

Shrimp is my favorite kind of seafood, it's also high in protein and great if you're on a diet. If you're a seafood lover like me try this tasty shrimp recipe.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 lb. white shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • Lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp. white wine (or water)
  • Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

 

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 1 tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Add shrimp, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes and cook until shrimp is pink, about 3 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tablespoon butter, lemon juice, white wine, and parsley.
  3. Serve as is or over pasta or rice
