World-Waffle-Day: Did You Had A Waffle Today?
What's up, Steemians.
Amazon's Alexa told me this morning, that it is the waffle day.
What a great inspiration! 😊
So, it was decided by fate :-) what we will have in the afternoon: Self-made waffles. We did not make them for a long time for a good reason. They are too good.
Gladly, I found the old recipe in my collection. As you can see in the photos we combined it with all sorts of good combinations: whipped cream, chocolate sauce, cherry ice cream, mousse au chocolate, sugar, maple syrup and cookie ice cream.
For sure a coffee has to be part of it:

I came over from anna-mi's post to see how your waffles turned out. They look tasty! My fondest memory of making waffles was in elementary school my teacher created a word puzzle and if we could spell it out we got to have waffles with fruits and whip cream and syrup🌸
