Supermarket Food Selection in Japan [4]

in food •  7 years ago

Hi Steemit Friends,

The other day, I was at the supermarket a little later than usual and found many of the dishes are sold and the attendent was starting to put discount stickers on the boxes.

I've seen some people actually follow the attendant to see what gets discounted and most of the time they are ok with it, i guess they are used to it.

@japanguid thanks for the share. I can relate to what you are saying with the discounts. I have a son who times when he goes shopping as he knows all the times when food prices are being lowered. Here in our supermarket, these are called "whoopsie" items. LOL Take care @racykacy

whoopsie items? are the food still good cos whoopsie gives a feeling its bad? which country is this?

@japanguide I never really thought about that sounding bad because it does. However, the food is still of good quality and taste. And I am from the UK, and every time I go shopping and see a whoopsie item I will think of you (not mesaning bad that is)...LOL Take care @racykacy

Hmmmm..
I wanna also shopping there

shopping at japan is always fun.

thanks for your support

Ha ha, that's an really funny and amazing thing to do means if the sticker of discount is attached then pick it up and if not attached then say to it "Any Other Day". Thanks for sharing and wishing you an great day. 🙂

Stay Blessed.
