Easiest Bread Rolls in the Whole Wide World

in food •  7 years ago

As a little girl, one of the best things my mom could bake was bread rolls. Once they came out of the oven, everyone in my family immediately wanted one (or two). But let's face it, "regular" bread rolls with yeast take forever to bake, at least if you are as impatient as me. So, what I'm offering you today is bread rolls baked within 30 minutes, and the taste! I've been eating these everyday for a month now, and they still taste phenomenal!

Bread Rolls • 10 small ones

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups (5 dl) flour (I used 1 cup wheat and 1 cup rye flour)
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
2-3 tbsp maple syrup
1 cup (2 ½ dl) water

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat the oven to 200 °C (390 F). Mix all the dry ingredients in a bow. Add in the maple syrup and the water. Stir until everything is well incorporated. Make 10 balls (or heaps) of the dough on a baking tray. Bake for 15 minutes. Serve right away with (vegan) butter! 😋

Hope you'll give them a try, they're worth it!
