Been quite busy lately, so bought a treat

When passing through a Marks and Spencer (also known as M&S), I spotted something called "Mac & Cheese bites". I hadn't seen this before, and thought why not give it a shot as I love things like mozzarella balls and just mac and cheese by itself.

Here's a link to the nutritional label of the mac & cheese bites! They costed about £3.75 which is around 20 or 21 STEEM I think?

The pack came with 9 balls, so I decided to have 4 for one serving as they were quite small and I thought it would be the protein of my meal.

Above is the label, the cooking instructions was fan 170 degrees Celsius for about 12 minutes. Maybe I should have put them longer as they weren't very melted? I kind of assumed that they should have been melty as they are cheese.

What I ate with it

So to go with it, I had some pasta, chopped tomatoes, sweetcorn and red onion. I was tired so I didn't really do much, it was still delicious! The balls were a bit peppered, which was nice, but I found them quite... lacking?

I tried to take a picture of what they looked like inside. As you can see, definitely mac & cheese! I understood the idea, but I definitely wouldn't buy it again, they just were a bit boring. I would choose mozzarella balls over these for sure.

What disappointed me even further that when I tried to eat them cold (the next day), they were kind of unpleasant. And sure, it was cold but usually you would expect it to be a bit nicer...

Not sure, maybe I'm harsh, but still! I usually love M&S food, they tend to be quite creative, for example they had at one point candyfloss flavoured grapes (back when it was new and unique!).
Really it just felt like a wasted a bit of money that I could have definitely got something cheaper, that would probably had more of them and a better taste/experience.
