You call it Pancake. Indonesia calls it Serabi. We call it Apam. Actually Aceh has two kinds of Apam, first made from rice flour and eat with some coconut milk called Kuah Tuhe as the soup, second, made from regular flour with Asoe Kaya custard which frequently can be found in traditional market. This time I make it without coconut milk nor the custard. It's a morning breakfast and my son's school snack as well. Check out how I make them.
Ingredients:
- 200 gr flour
- 30 gr palm sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 5 gr yeast
- Salt
- Cheese
- Chocolate topping
Instructions:
- Blend all the ingredients
- Spoon the batter onto pan and sprinkle cheese
- Let them cooked well and done!
