Dragon Pie - Using Leftover Biscuit

Whooaa...we're about counting down the days to holy month, Ramadhan. During Ramadhan, we do not eat or drink. Yup, we won't eat for this whole month! Don't be shock, it's only from the dawn until the sun sets for thirty days. So, prepping yourself? Me? Well, I just can't wait to see that weight scale touches the smaller number.:D

So, before we fast; let's prepping with this kinda good food! :D

My kids and I always love dragon fruits and love to transform them into many kinds of food, except; juice! We prefer to eat them, not to grind them. We love the soft and smooth of the fruit flesh. :)

This time, let's get them on pie!

Ingredients:

  • Dragon fruit

Crust:

  • Leftover biscuit
  • Vegetables oil
  • 2 tsp water

Vla:

  • 5 tsp maizena
  • 50 ml milk
  • 30 ml water
  • 4 tsp sugar
  • salt

Instructions:

  1. Grind the biscuit, mix with water and veggie oil until dull.
  2. Flatten the dough on pie mold and prick it up (which I forgot(-_-)).
  3. Bake about 25 minutes.
  4. Take out pie crust from the oven, chill.
  5. Whisk all vla ingredients and heat on pan and must stir well until it's going sticky.
  6. Pour the vla and set into fridge for 30 minutes.
  7. Cut dragon fruits and top on the pie.
  8. Serve.

So, making this pie crust from leftover biscuit it's easy. What do you think?
