The weather is becoming great for the past few days now on this side of the planet. However, I do believe that on the other side of the world, their still experiencing the cold. My mother would constantly complain about how extreme the cold could be on the opposite side of the earth.

A Hot Soup For A Cold Snowy Weather

My mother was up early to cook for my father, sister and brother-in-law who will be out to brave the cold weather because of work. So, she decided to prepare them some hot soup.

For the ingredients, she used the following:
  • pork ribs
  • vegetables (slice them into medium sizes)
    potatoes
    carrots
    sayote
  • Chinese pechay
  • green chili
  • spring onions
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • water
Simple Steps:

In a deep pan, put in the pork ribs and add some water. Bring it to boil until the meat is tender. Once the meat is tender, add in first the 'hard-to-cook' veggies such as sayote, potatoes and carrots. If you would like your carrots to be half-cooked, you may just it later on together with the pechay and the green chili. Simmer for a while. Add in the spring onions, afterwards. Then, season with salt and pepper.

Here you go!

You may serve the soup alone, or you may pair with rice. For me, I prefer the combo of this soup and rice.
Solved!
Try this one too... prepare for your loved ones.
