HEAVEN #6: Din Tai Fung (Central World Bangkok)

in food •  8 years ago  (edited)

Din Tai Fung is world famous for steamed buns (xiaolongbao)

I had tried Michelin Star decorated Din Tai Fung in many countries and this time the first Thai branch in Central world had to be tested. I had tested the 101 Taipei Branch (Here) and I was super excited to try out anther Din Tai Fung Branch.

Din Tai Fung Bangkok

The sauces

A la Carte Menu

Garlic & ginger sauteed spinach

Fried Egg rice

Steemed Pork Dumplings

Once you open it, a soup will come out it is so delicious

Steemed Pork and  Shrimp Dumpling

Steem(ed) pork and shrimp Shao-Mai

Have a look at the inside of the Shao-mai (insanly good)

While I still remember the Original DimSum in Taipei being a bit better, these DimSum in Bangkok are close to perfection. Once you bite into it the soup will come out and mix perfectly with the ginger and soysauce in the spoon. It will give an amazing finish and you will be satisfied.

The rice and the spinach were excellent and I have to say that I was super full after eating almost all of this alone. Usually I would only order 1 dish + 2 sides but for my blog I am prepared to go through all kinds of torture and eat 27 super tasty DimSums :)

My verdict: If you are in Bangkok you have to visit this restaurant !
