Japanese Soulfood Tempura
Today I want to introduce another Soulfood from Japan. It is called Tempura and basically a chef fries them. The origin is from Portugal but the Japanese cooks have perfected the food. For me Tempura is Foodart
Tempura Lunch
I had a fantastic Japanese Tempura lunch for 3500yen (around 3000 Yen) and it was absolutely worth it. Please have a look at the beautiful setting of the food. The colors and everything looks so fantastic. The Sashimi was very good too but the Tempura was the highlight of the lunch. The Shitake Mushroom Tempura was incredible.

I love Tempura. I've tried to make it myself and it's hard to get the batter just right. But when you do .... MAGIC.
Have you tried sushi where they use tempura as one of the ingredients? It's delicious if served immediately. (It gets soggy very quick)
