Nabe Party at Hinai-tei in Tokyo

Today I went with a couple of good friends to Hinai-tei in Ebisu. Nabe means pot, so if you hear Nabe in Japan mostly people are referring to go eating HOT-POT. Hot-Pot is very nice if it gets cold outside. You will eat a lot vegetables and some delicious meat and meatballs. 

I love Hot-Pot and usually eat it in China, Japan and Korea. Sometimes in Thailand or Singapore too, but it is better to eat when the weather gets cold outside...

The bill not bad for 6 people...

If you think that eating in Japan is expensive you are only partly right. Of course there is no limit to the price of food. I once ate one piece of Toro for 5000 Yen (50 USD) but you can totally eat with a daily budget of 15$ in Japan (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

In Japan it is very common to go eat in huge groups of women and men this is called Go-Kon well anywhere else you just call it go out and eat with friends ;)
