This evening we had our Dinner at Sushi Samba of course every Japanese sushi chef will kick you out if you ask for these 邪道寿司(dark path sushi) but I like the american way of sushi pretty much.

My favorite is the Samba Dromo with lobster ;)

Our first starter were these incredible truffle wagyu dumplings!!

than we had several other makis, most of them are the signature makis (samba dromo, ebisu san, hamapeno)

Usually this is a starter, but we had it as a dessert ;) the edamame and the pimientos were delicious

last but not least, we ordered anther salmon ebi maki, as we were still hungry...

I like Sushi Samba not only for the Sushi, but for the great view. Everybody passes this restaurant at one point, so if you like watching people, this is the spot for you (hint hint guys..)

The truffle wagyu gyoza dumplings were really unbelievable, that dish is just WOW !!

Do you have a favourite sushi that you always order? Or do you always mix it up? I use spicy tuna rolls to "judge" a new sushi restaurant. After that, I like to mix it up.

yes spicy tuna rolls are my favorite too. my favorite spicy tuna rolls I had a katana in L.A.! the best
