SPOTTED #14: Japanese Sweets

Be careful in Japan if you like sweets and snacks

Japan is really dangerous if you like to eat. I already gained 2.5kg since arriving in Japan... You have temptation everywhere. And most of the stuff you can buy is just frickin amazing...

When you get bored at night you can just to to a 7-11 or Lawson and buy some stuff...

Baumkuchen

While it looked nice, don't buy Baumkuchen in Japan (tastes bad)

Milk Daifuku with white chocolate

I love Japanese Daifuku. You have the soft Mochi style sweets and they are usually filled with beans, chocolate or other sweet stuff

Matcha Chocolate

These were great, at 1$ a steal. Matcha chocolate is just amazing ;)

What is your poison?

Usually I like Japanese Senbei (Rice Crackers) the quality difference between Japanese Rice Crackers and the ones you can buy outside of Japan are huge. Try get original Ricecrackers in a Japanese Supermarket (some import them)

Or Daifuku with Ice-Cream inside are pretty awesome too!!!

Did you ever try Japanese Daifuku???

I love daifuku as well! The best I have eaten so far were found in a Japanese restaurant in France, as strange as it sounds.

no jp food in france is top notch ;)

An excellent choice to live in Japan, my Sister spent three years there and loved it.

well I am just here for vacation but yes its nice

I miss the sweet bean paste that you can find in Japan and Korea. I can find close alternatives in Asian markets, but it's not the same.

you can cook that one yourself. just google a recipe ;)

That is a great idea!!!

;) very easy . just be careful that you dont eat too many ;)
