Almond

While I love many kinds of nuts, Almonds are one of my favorite. I love Cashews and Almonds and I sometimes buy them when I am on the road. I always wondered why Almonds are so expensive

Almonds from Tree

At my friends house I finally understood why Almonds are expensive. He has a Garden with Almonds Trees and we started taking the Almonds from the Tree. After we had to crack the huge Almonds open to get the Almonds we know from the supermarket. The fresh Almonds are white and taste great, but they are totally different than the roasted crispy Almonds I usually get in a supermarket.

wonderfull tree of almonds have some small beautifull leafs its really good to share this tree with us we use almonds in routen but we was not see the almonds tree but now we see it from ur sharing sir

really i also love almonds but really i dont see almonds tree before it green almonds on tree i see this 1st time the fresh almonds sir ur every post gives us some new and also this thanx @knozaki sir

Great @knozaki2015 sir, i never see the almond tree before, today in your post finally i saw a almond tree, i think almond is expensive bcoz it makes the brain sharper and brain is the most precious part of human body.

awesome dry fruit i use almonds in many sweet dishes and it give more tast my dishes and almond trees i hope if farm it in my garden

I love Almonds. We have 2 trees in our garden too. Basically we have to let it dry under the sun, so that it cracks easily.

My favourite nuts have to be cashews.
The instantly just melt in your mouth and they taste so good!
I've never seen an almond tree before but it looks pretty cool.
I hope I can have the opportunity one day to have fresh almond nuts @knozaki2015

Almonds are for sure the king of nuts, they're also unfortunately some of the most expensive (next to Walnuts). Oh well, you get what you pay for! As much as I love budgeting and saving money, I believe it's important to shell out a bit extra (shell out - get it!? lol) when that thing is something that gives you pleasure or you find worthwhile. For instance, while I spend very little money these days on things like clothes or fancy gadgets, (already have an iphone and a macbook so I'm good), I WILL spend money on fresh organic produce. Health is one of the best investments you can have...

Ok, rant over, haha.

I have a 40 foot Walnut tree in my back yard. I have trouble getting the meats out of the shells, but I'm sure there are machines for that. It amazes me how expensive they are as well. I'll probably get 100 pounds this year. (45kg)
