Red Lobster? In Mid Valley Mall? Where exactly?

I visited Mid Valley quite often, I thought I know enough about Mid Valley. When my business partner invited me to have dinner at Red Lobster Mid Valley, I thought he wanted to fool me because I didn't notice there is a Red Lobster restaurant in Mid Valley. I have visited Starbucks Mid Valley a lot but didn't realize until last night that Red Lobster restaurant is just two shops away from Starbucks. Guess I know the reason, normally expensive restaurants are not part of my dining option. So, my brain auto-filtered it. Haha

红龙虾？在谷中城？哪里哦。。？
谷中城我很常去，还以为我会谷中城的商店很了解。当我的生意伙伴邀请我去谷中城的红龙虾，我还以为他要耍我，因为我没看过谷中城里有红龙虾这家餐厅。谷中城的星巴克我去得多，直到昨晚我才知道隔两间店就是红龙虾了！我应该知道为什么我不知道它的存在。那么贵的餐厅一般我是不会去的，所以我的脑袋直接把这些餐厅给过滤掉了。哈哈

Red Lobster is one of the largest seafood restaurant chant in the world, origin from the States. Three years ago, Red Lobster stepped their foot into Malaysia. In just three years, they have expanded to five branches in Malaysia. You can find Red Lobster at Quill City Mall, Sunway Putra Mall, The Curve, Aeon Shah Alam and of course, Mid Valley Megamall.

红龙虾是来自美国的连锁店。三年前开始踏入马来西亚，三年后的今天，他们总共开了五间分行了。你可以在Quill City Mall, Sunway Putra Mall, The Curve, Aeon Shah Alam, 还有 Mid Valley Megamall找得到这家餐厅。

Other than lobsters and seafood, they served pizza, pasta, and steak as well. Daily from 6PM onward, they have Special Dinner Set comes with soup, cheddar cheese biscuits and bottomless drink.

除了龙虾，海鲜之外，他们还有批萨，意大利面，牛扒。每天六点钟后可以点他们的特别晚餐配套。配套包括一碗蘑菇汤，芝士饼干，还有任喝的饮料。

Here comes the food – 食物上桌啦!

The mushroom soup. 蘑菇汤 - 5/10 (RM19.90 if ordered separately)

The soup is creamy enough, but the taste, it's nothing to shout about. The garlic bread was OK.
/他们的蘑菇汤很浓，不过味道就很一般了。他的蒜头面包还不错一下。

Cheddar cheese biscuits芝士饼干 - 6.5/10 (complimentary from the set)

Is actually a soft-bun like rather than a biscuit. The cheddar cheese taste is too mild for me. Perhaps if they have put some cheese topping on the bun, might taste better. Overall, it is like eating some sort of salty bun, but I like the texture.
/芝士饼干其实是一种面包。芝士的味道比较淡。吃起来像在吃着带有咸味的面包。不过我还是喜欢它的口感。心想如果在面包上放上一些芝士，味道可能会比较好吧。

Red Lobster Signature Pizza. 龙虾披萨 - 8/10 (RM43.90)

This thin crust pizza filled with lots of shrimps and a decent portion of the lobster meal. Although visually doesn't look impressed, but we can't judge a book by its cover. Surprisingly it tastes good.
/薄薄的批萨饼皮铺上了许多虾仁和龙虾肉。卖相可能没什么好看，但是味道真的不错哦。值得推荐！

Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Salmon served with broccoli and rice. 烤龙虾，烤虾，三文鱼 - 7/10 (RM119.90 per set)

The fresh lobster tail and shrimps were perfectly grilled, enjoyed every single bite on them. Salmon grilled with brown butter source was a let-down for me. Seriously I like the salmon cooked by my wife more.
/龙虾和虾都烤的刚刚好，味道鲜甜。至于牛油煎三文鱼呢，觉得跟我太太烤的没两样。

The Bar Harbour Lobster Pasta. 龙虾意大利面 - 8.5/10 (RM128.90)

You can choose spicy or classic. We ordered the spicy version. With that price tag, we expect a lot from it. The pasta almost fully covered by the seafood! Fresh bake lobster tail, tender shrimp, scallops and mussels were nicely cooked. If you are hungry enough, go for this dish. The portion enough to fill two stomachs!
/两种口味可以选择，辣味或原味。我们都爱吃辣的所以就选择辣的啦。这样的价钱，我的期望会提别高。海鲜铺的满满的差点连意大利面也给全藏起来了。新鲜的龙虾，虾，代子，青口贝，全部有煮到刚刚好，味道都不错。去过你很饿的话，可以点这个，吃完后保证你饱到想吐。

Fish and Chips. 鱼和薯条 - 6/10 (RM32.90)

Two big dory fish fillet is just too much for a person, this dish needs to be shared. The taste, not to my liking. I won't recommend this.
/两片大大的鱼片，足够两个人吃了。味道方面就不适合我的口味了。我个人不会推荐这。

Lobster Bisque, 龙虾汤 - 8/10 (RM26.90)

The creamy and thick soup with lobster meat needs to be consumed when it was still warm. The fresh lobster taste is very well blended in the soup. Yes, please go for this when you visit them the next time.
/很香浓，肯定要趁热享用。龙虾的鲜味是这个汤的灵魂。嗯，我会推荐这给大家。

Grilled Lobster, Shrimp and Scallops served with broccoli and rice. 烤龙虾，虾，还有扇贝。- 8/10 (RM98.90)

Again, the highlight is the grilled lobster. Shrimp and Scallops are equally fresh as well.
/当然龙虾就是这道菜的主角。全部海鲜都很新鲜。

Tilapia Monterey, Prawns and Crab Cakes. 金凤鱼片，虾，蟹饼- 7/10 (RM79.90)

Guess not many people would want to order tilapia in Red Lobster, but my business partner would like to give it a try. I didn't have any portion of the dish because my stomach is about to burst. Based on his feedback, the tilapia tastes better than what we usually consumed outside. Worth a try.
/在龙虾餐厅点金凤鱼？不是吧。我的伙伴就是要比较特别的。我没尝到这道菜因为我的肚子实在装不下了。听我伙伴说，这金凤鱼比起我们平常吃的来的好。可以试试哦。

Lobster and Shrips Mac-n-Cheese. 芝士龙虾意大利面 - 8.5/10 (RM59.90)

Lobster meat, shrimp and pasts with a lot of mozzarella cheese! It was too cheesy for my liking. However, it tastes good! Recommended.
/龙虾，虾还有满满芝士的意大利面。这盘食物怎么还能吃得下去呀。那芝士也太多太浓吧。味道不错，值得推荐。不过建议三个人分享就OK.

Overall, personally I feel that Red Lobster is just slightly above average. For that price, I expect much more quality than this.
/整体来说，我觉得这餐厅比其他餐厅稍微好一点。这样的价格，我会期望很高。但是他们达不到我的要求。
