We love eating. Specially when we are travelling in foreign countrys.
It makes so much fun to try new things, to get to know new tastes and combinations of food. Because of food, you can be better aquainted with the countrys since youve get to know new spices, vegetabeles and fruits you never saw or taste before and also the culture of food is a big statement of the culture youre visiting. Its just a quite exciting topic for us when we`re travelling.
If you feel the same or just love eating or cooking, this could be a very interessting article.

Dosa with diffrent fillings, one of the main Streetfood in South India

So... We are arrived in India in March 2017 and had one month to explore this beautiful, mysterious country.
But guess what the first thing that weve did when were arrived. Sure thing, get something to eat!
So as were landed in Mumbai, weve make our way straight to the trainstation to get to another city. Near the trainstation were a lot of diffrent streetfood "shops". We`ve took our first meal which was a Bread Omlett which consist of toast stuffed with a omlett, peppers and a lot of typical indian spices it was such a hot thing to eat, but in india you will quickly make the experice of hot meals. (In the beginning you will have problems with that, because you body have to adjust to it...)

If you intressted how it will be prepered and looks like, here is a short Video:

You`re surely heared from that but in india is eating very cheap. Normally the prices for Streetfoods are 10-60 INR (20-90 Cent).

What we`re really like in india was the bread. They made so good bread there, it is incredible. Especially because they make them fresh nearly to every meal you eat. (more in normal meals, in streetfood often dough with a filling)
There are a plenty of breads they make, often depends in which area of india you are. There are Chapati, Naan, Paratha... and so maaany more!

If you have to know one thing about indian streetfood, than it is that most of the food is deep-fried, fatty and veeery delicious!
Random things are so good deep-fried but in combination with the indian spices and sauces its even better.

We`ve tried deep-fried jackfruit which was very good, also there were diffrent vegetable fritters

Also it`s a big thing that you very often just have the opinion to eat vegeterian or moreover vegan. They make so good meatless food, its a blast! So when you have the willing to start to be a vegeterian/vegan for period of time or longer, I think its a wonderful start and sure is for the people who already live that way. Also you can collect many own ideas for cooking at home!

Stuffed dough with potatos, lentils ... and Puri Puri. Puri Puri is made by every bite you take, you get one little Puri (thin crusted doughted with a hole in it) and it will stuffed with potato, spices and a cold sauce which is kind of sweet. In the beginning it was very strange for me, the combination of salt, sweet, hot and cold... but in the end i really loved it!

In the end I will not sidestep you at least one of the pastries they do over there. Ahhh, so good... And most of the time very sweet/soaked in sweet syrup and/or deep-fried.

One of the things I decribed before. Deeeep-fried and soaked in sugar, yum... but after this you feel really bad, sry i have to say that, i think it´s just to much sugar and fat infusion. Ha Ha
