This is 1 of the best dim sum stall in our hawker Singapore, all the food he sold are all hand made by himself, wife and son. As alot of his supporter will find out that his stall had been closed for 3 months because recently owner went for operation as long hours of hectic work causes injury on his spine, he need to undergo operation if not he might be paralysed. Business likely to be resume in another 1 or 2 months time.
This is a major problem for hawkers and that's mine number 1 problem too, no manpower for hawkers job! That's might be the killer reason y our hawker culture will be dead in future, lost of great recipe and branding in future.
Wish 包爷 ( which we address him as ) speedy recovery and we can enjoy ur wonderful dim sum again.
Most of the popular street vendors or hawkers do not continue their business if they are sick or have died.
Hopefully the dim sum seller gets well soon and can continue his popular business.

It’s not just about manpower. I’ve enquired about having automation to reduce the manual workload of hawkers. But the space allocated is so small and hard to put automated machines. On top of that, the amount of power allocated is small also. Can’t run any heavy automated robots.
